The government may have deregulated the telecommunications industry in 1996, but there were certainly no helpfull hints or how-to handbooks for those who were interested in entering into this high-tech trade.

Identifying where to find information that had never before been released to the general public was the first step. This involved months of scouring library shelves and internet sites, becoming familiar with over 900 pages of telecommunications terms and then learning how to deal with state and federal government agencies. Finaly, after years of pioneering effort, Peak Communications began offering its service to the public in May of 1999.

In the end, it has been worth it. Peak Communications sits on the cutting edge of the telecommunications industry - a field which is only just beginning to become competitive and customer service oriented.
